Jeep Cherokee - Video tutorial
Model: Jeep Cherokee
KL, MK 5
- Years 2013-2023 In this tutorial, we can see how to replace the rear brake pads on a Jeep Cherokee. First of all, we lift the rear area of the car with a jack, then we put the car in "maintenance" mode through the appropriate menu indicated and disconnect the negative pole of the battery. We then remove the wheel, unscrew the lower bolt of the caliper and hold it up with wire or a strap. At this point, we can remove the old pads, clean the supports from any residue and install the replacements. Finally, let's remember to deactivate the "maintenance" mode.

First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again! by ScegliAuto More videos
