Operation: How to remove the Soft Top of the Jeep Wrangler

In this video, we see how to remove the soft top from a Jeep Wrangler: so we enter inside because there are a couple of latches to release; we remove the sun visors, underneath there are the levers, and these allow us to remove only the front part, without lowering the entire roof. There is a lever here on the side to push forward, and then the entire front part will lift up. To remove it completely, we will have to bring forward the part that we have lifted now, closing it completely. The rear windows are inserted in the Velcro and have zippers, so they are easily removed. Remember that they cannot be folded; there is a specific place to store them. The front "glass" instead rolls up on itself, storing it in its appropriate hooks. We remove the rear pillars by folding them onto the roof. Now we pull the tabs on the sides that will release the rear part. This will allow the back to fold onto itself, folding the rear pillar, and while it descends, you store everything inside. And here is where to put the windows: behind the rear seat.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
