Replacing the Driveshaft on Your Off-Roader

Model: Jeep Wrangler MK 3, JK - Years 2007-2018

I will explain how to replace your driveshaft. First, lift your car off the ground using a jack or a lift. Remove the wheels from the vehicle, disassemble the entire braking system, and clean or replace any worn parts. After that, drain all the oil from the driveshaft casing, and if necessary, disassemble everything and clean the following gears from dirt. After cleaning everything, remove the old bearings and replace them with new ones. If disassembly takes too long, use a grinder to cut the damaged old bearings. After that, reassemble everything, change the oil for maintenance, refit everything, and the job is done.
