The airbag is undoubtedly one of the most important devices in your car as it significantly increases protection and safety during an accident. For this reason, it should never be deactivated or removed except in special cases such as maintenance and repairs of the system itself. Below, you will learn how to remove the airbag from a Kia Ceed. Before starting, disconnect the car battery. Once done, unscrew the screws located at the back of the steering wheel using a Torx key size 40. Remove the front panel of the steering wheel and disconnect it from the yellow connector.
