How to Remove the Airbag from the Kia Sportage

In this video tutorial, you can see how to remove the airbag from the Kia Sportage by following a few simple steps that will guide you towards proper management of your vehicle. The first step is to get inside the car, pull the handbrake, then pull the bonnet release lever to lift it. Once the bonnet is raised, secure it with the appropriate prop. Disconnect the battery terminals, starting with the negative pole, to avoid damaging the electrical circuit. Get back inside the vehicle and remove the key from the ignition; take an Allen key and unscrew the Torx screw located behind the steering wheel on the right. Once unscrewed, you can detach the airbag from its housing and disconnect the cables.
