Position of Sensors and Actuators in the Kia Rio MK4

In this video, see where various sensors and actuators are located in the Kia Rio MK4: The TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) is connected to the throttle body and indicates to the ECU how much the driver presses the pedal. Next to it is the MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor, which is a pressure sensor located at the level of the intake manifold. On either side of the engine block, there are two variable valve solenoid sensors for improved oil flow. Then we have the oxygen sensors. Next to them are the two lambda probes and the CMP sensor, which is the camshaft position sensor, detecting the speed and position of the crankshaft. The YouTuber shows us, from the wire colours on the actuator, that this is a semi-sequential injection vehicle, receiving two injections for every two revolutions of the crankshaft. The ECU (the main control unit) is then shown. Very hidden, we can glimpse the coolant temperature sensor.
