Kia Rio - Video tutorial

Model: Kia Rio YB, SC, MK 4 - Years 2016-2023
Part: Checks and maintenance
Operation: Position of sensors and actuators of the Kia Rio MK4 version.

In this video, we will see where various sensors and actuators are located in the Kia Rio MK4 version. The TPS (Throttle Position Sensor), which is the sensor that detects the position of the throttle valve, is connected to the throttle body and indicates to the ECU how much the driver is pressing on the pedal. Next to it, we have the MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor, which is a pressure sensor located at the intake manifold level. On the sides of the engine block, we have two solenoid sensors with variable valve timing for better oil flow. We then see the oxygen sensors. Next to them are the two lambda probes and the CMP sensor, which is the camshaft position sensor that detects the speed and position of the engine shaft. Our YouTuber shows us, from the colors of the wires on the actuator, that this is a semi-sequential injection vehicle that receives two injections for every two engine revolutions. We are then shown the ECU (main control unit). We can barely see the coolant temperature sensor, which is hidden.

How do you replace the battery of the BMW R 1250 GS?

In order to replace the battery of the BMW R 1250 GS it is necessary to loosen the bolts that secure the casing positioned on the left side of the bike, so that its cover can be removed. Once this has been removed, you will be able to access the components below, including the battery. The latter must be removed from its housing by disconnecting the power cables and unscrewing the appropriate fixing bolts. In this way it will be possible to insert a new battery, properly fixing it and connecting it to the relative cables, covering everything with the casing.
