How to Reset the Service Light on a Land Rover Freelander II

Let's see how to reset the service light on a Land Rover Freelander II: turn on the instrument cluster (with the ignition key or the "start" button) and you will see the service light illuminated on the instrument cluster. Press and hold the reset button for the onboard computer (located on the rev counter, on the left side of the dashboard). While holding this button, press the start button (or turn the ignition key) for 2 to 3 seconds. Then release the start button (but not the rev counter button). At this point, the "service" message will start flashing: when it stops, release the button. Press it again briefly, and the distance and days until the next service will appear. Hold the button again until the value starts flashing: the message "reset in progress" will appear, followed by "reset complete". That's it.
