Now, turn the collar of the pump to unscrew it; you may need to use a special tool or two opposing screwdrivers for assistance. Next, gently pull out the fuel pump to avoid splashing fuel everywhere! Replace it with a new one (if it cannot be repaired): for reassembly, apply the reverse procedure!
