Operation: How do I replace the fuel pump on Land Rover Discovery?

In order to replace the fuel pump of the Land Rover Discovery you have to go to open the tailgate, in order to have access to the luggage compartment. Here, the carpet covering the trunk floor must be lifted in order to have access to the underlying components. By unscrewing all the bolts that secure the circular sheet metal cover, it will be possible to access the fuel pump. The latter can be extracted from its housing by disconnecting its connectors and unscrewing its fixing screws. It will be possible to replace it with a new spare part, reassembling all the removed components.
