Replacing the Cabin Air Filter

Model: Land Rover Freelander Freelander 1 - Years 1997-2006
Part: Cabin air filter

The cabin air filter is located on the passenger side, beneath the glove compartment, just above the scuff plate; note that the cap is an integral part of the filter itself. Once you locate the filter, remove the screws securing the cap and extract the filter; clean the housing of any dirt residues and insert the new filter: during this process, you may need to slightly bend the filter to fit it in. Once inserted, refit the securing screws. It is also recommended to sanitise the cabin with a suitable germicidal spray.
