Need to replace the air filter on a Land Rover Freelander? Here's how to change it from inside the engine bay. Open the car door, pull up the engine bay release lever, and lift the front bonnet, securing it with the prop rod. Remove the engine soundproofing panel, then unscrew the fastening screws of the air filter housing. Open the filter housing, remove the lid, and take out the worn air filter. Insert a new filter, refit the air box lid, and tighten the screws. Refit the engine cover panel. Close the front bonnet at the end of the maintenance.
