Replacing the air filter on a Land Rover Freelander? Let's see how you change from inside the engine compartment. We open the car door, pull up the engine compartment opening lever and lift up the front hood, we secure the same with the rod. We remove the soundproofing panel of the engine, then, we unscrew the tightening screws of the air filter container. We open the filter container, uncover the filter box cap and extract the worn air filter. We insert a new filter, replace the cap of the air box and tighten the screws. We mount the engine cover panel. We close the front hood at the end of the maintenance.
