This guide shows how to replace the engine air filter on a Land Rover Freelander: open the car door, pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, and lift the bonnet, securing it with the prop rod. Open the air intake kit (release the metal clips), uncover the filter box panel, and remove the air filter to be replaced. Insert a new filter into the designated housing (ensuring it fits snugly around the edges). Finally, reassemble the air box panel and secure it with the appropriate clips. Close the bonnet after maintenance.
