Instructions for Removing the Front Seat

Model: Land Rover Range Rover MK 2 - Years 1994-2002

Removing the front seat is relatively simple, but the only caution is during the final phase when you need to disconnect the connectors for the electric drives, the seatbelt pretensioner, and the airbag. For this reason, it is advisable to disconnect the battery before this last operation, not before, as you will certainly need to move the seat forward and backward to access the pins. Start by disconnecting the seatbelt, then remove the plastic covers of the seat tracks. Move the seat all the way forward and then backward to access the respective mounting pins. At this point, disconnect the battery and the connectors under the seat to complete the removal.
