How to Reset the Service Light on a Mazda 6

Model: Mazda 6 GJ, MK 3 - Years 2012-2024

To reset the service light on a Mazda 6, turn on the instrument panel without starting the engine, then use the buttons on the left side of the steering wheel to scroll through the instrument panel menu until you reach the maintenance section. Select the option related to the maintenance interval or oil change, then press and hold the INFO or SET button, depending on the version, until the confirmation request appears. Confirm the reset using the same command and wait for the procedure to complete. Once finished, turn off the panel and turn it back on to check that the service light has been cleared and that the new maintenance interval has been recorded correctly.
