In today's tutorial, follow the instructions to remove and replace the EGR valve on a Mazda 6 3.0 six-cylinder diesel, first series. First, open the bonnet of your car and start by removing the battery; to do this, undo the nuts on the two terminals to disconnect them, and remove the screws from the battery bracket. Once the battery is removed, you can take out the battery tray and disconnect the hoses leading to the valve by loosening the metal clips; then disconnect the electrical connector from the valve and use a spanner to undo its fixing screws to remove it!
