Mazda 6 GH: how to reset the TPMS.
Model: Mazda 6
MK 2, GH
- Years:

Video tutorial
To reset the TPMS on the Mazda 6 GH, safely park the car, turn on the ignition without starting the engine, and prepare a TPMS sensor programming tool. Enter the sensor reading mode and, using the tool, sequentially approach each valve to detect the IDs of the sensors present on the wheels. If a sensor is faulty or needs to be replaced, remove the affected wheel, deflate the tire, and open the bead on the tire changer to access the valve. Remove the old sensor mounted on the valve and install the new compatible sensor, tightening it properly onto the rim. Before remounting the tire, connect the new sensor to the TPMS tool and clone or program the ID by copying the data from the original sensor, so that the Mazda 6 GH's control unit recognizes it as already paired. Remount the tire onto the rim, inflate it to the prescribed pressure, and reinstall it on the car. Finally, repeat the reading on all wheels to confirm that the IDs are stored correctly; with the sensors learned and the correct pressures, the tire pressure warning light on the Mazda 6 GH dashboard will turn off, and the TPMS will be reset.
