How to Replace the PVC Valve on a Mazda 6

Model: Mazda 6 GG, MK 1 - Years 2002-2008

Let's see how to remove and replace the PVC valves on a Mazda. Lift the car on a column lift to your preferred height. Unscrew the oil drain plug. In the engine bay, disconnect the battery terminals and the hoses from the engine mounts. Remove the air filter kit to access the throttle body. Take off the plastic panel on the engine head and pull out the oil dipstick. Use a vacuum cleaner to eliminate any harmful dirt debris from the engine. Disconnect the feed terminals and unscrew all the bolts from the exhaust gas block and remove it from the engine bay. Remove the PVC valves with a screwdriver and install the new ones. Now, prepare to mount the block, ensuring all bolts are in the correct positions. Clean the valve attached to it and reassemble with the appropriate gasket. Tighten the bolts with a suitable socket wrench and reconnect all the feed connectors and hose clips. Remember to reassemble the air box.
