This guide shows how to reset the service lights on a 2012 Mazda 6 without using any diagnostic device. The procedure is performed directly from the vehicle's onboard computer; simply turn on the ignition, use the 'INFO' button on the steering wheel to navigate to the 'SETTINGS' page, and press the centre of the button used so far to display the new menu.

Navigate to the 'MAINTENANCE' option and select the reset for the active maintenance light. At this point, you can start the engine to check if the operation was successful.
