Mazda CX-5 - Video tutorial

Model: Mazda CX-5 MK 1, KE - Years 2012-2017
Part: Gearbox
Operation: How to change the oil in the automatic transmission of the Mazda Cx-5

To replace the gearbox oil of the Mazda Cx-5 we start by raising the car on the left side (driver's side), go under the car and remove the oil pan cover, with an 8mm Allen key unscrew the oil drain plug by placing a container underneath. In the meantime that the oil drains, we lower the car, go to the engine, remove the filter case by unscrewing the 2 screws with a 10mm socket wrench, disconnect the connector and the 2 tubes (1 larger and 1 smaller) and the rubbers, then remove the filter box. Once the filter box has been removed, we detach the intercooler tube by first removing the retainer and the plastic protection and put some paper inside the tube to prevent something from falling inside; unscrew with a 10mm socket wrench the filler cap which also has the dipstick for checking the upper oil level. Now let's move on to raise the car, screw the oil drain plug with a torque wrench and an 8mm Allen key; helping us with something that reaches the filling cap from above (a syringe is used in the video), we pour approximately the indicated liters (initial 3.5 liters in the video), we only replace the air filter cover so that it connects the pin and the large tube, start the car, engage the gears (P, R, N, D and sequential), let the engine reach a temperature of 50 degrees, check the oil level with the dipstick, pour what is necessary to get to the level, we reassemble everything and do a test ride. After the test ride, let the engine cool down, remove the filter box, let the engine reach 50 degrees, check the level again and top up if necessary; finally we reassemble everything and the operation is finished.

How do you adjust the clutch cable on the Kia Picanto?

To be able to adjust the clutch cable of the Kia Picanto you need to open the hood so that you have access to the components inside the engine compartment: in order to reach the cable you will need to remove some components on the right side, such as the battery and the air filter. Below them you will find the clutch cable, which will have to be adjusted by screwing or loosening the bolt placed at the end of the cable. This will make the pedal harder or softer; after the adjustment, it will be possible to assemble all the components by closing the hood.
