This guide explains how to perform routine maintenance by replacing the engine oil and oil filter on the Mazda CX-9. First, lift the vehicle and remove all the plastic clips from the lower engine cover, taking it off. Next, unscrew the oil drain plug and let the oil drain into a container for about ten minutes, as shown in the video. At this point, use the appropriate wrench to unscrew and replace the oil filter with a new one. Then, unscrew the fill cap and top off the oil!
