Replacement of the Bumper and Front Light

Model: Mazda 6 GG, MK 1 - Years 2002-2008

Open and lift the bonnet, and disconnect the negative connector from the battery to avoid damaging other electrical components. Now remove the two screws located next to the inner tip of the light on the bumper, obviously on both sides. At this point, you will need to work on the panel located at the bottom of your car. You must remove the panel in front of the wheel and also remove the bolts that secure the bumper from underneath. Now remove the clips that secure the bumper from the inner wing, allowing you to access the bolt that secures the bumper. You can now pull the bumper off, being careful of the connectors to disconnect. Next, remove the 5 bolts that secure the light to remove it, disconnect the connectors, and perform any necessary maintenance. You can then follow the steps in reverse for reassembly.
