How to Change the Key Battery of the Mazda CX-5
Model: Mazda CX-5
MK 1, KE
- Years 2012-2017
This model of Mazda, like other products from 2008 onwards, features the Keyless key, which means you can keep it in your pocket to be recognised by the car, allowing both unlocking and engine starting via the dedicated button. The battery for this type of key is a standard CR 2025 3 Volt, and replacing it is extremely simple. Start by extracting the metal key (known as the blade) by pressing the release button. Inside the blade housing, there are two small slots to lever and open the remote shell. At this point, remove the cover beneath which is the battery, taking care with the seal.

How to Replace the Battery on a Volkswagen Polo
When your vehicle won't start and makes noises similar to electrical contacts, the cause is likely the battery. Release the bonnet using the appropriate lever and lift it to secure it with the prop rod. First, check the condition of your battery, then disconnect the terminals, starting with the negative one. Next, unclip the brackets securing the battery on both sides, then unscrew the bolts on the sides of the battery base to remove the brackets holding it in place. Install the new battery, and you're done! by ScegliAuto More videos
