To reset the trip odometer on a Mazda CX-9, insert the ignition key into the ignition switch. This will allow you to navigate the menu displayed on the screen using the directional arrows on the left side of the steering wheel.

Locate the option that shows the miles driven since the last reset. Once this is displayed, press and hold the INFO button for a few seconds, noting that the interval will be reset.

After completing the operation, you can turn off the instrument cluster.
