In this video, we see how to reset the automatic transmission of the Mercedes E-Class W212 version. There are two methods. Let's see the first one: turn on the ignition without starting the engine and press the accelerator pedal all the way down for 30 seconds, then start the engine. This procedure resets the automatic transmission to factory settings; now we will have to readjust the transmission to our driving style. But let's see how the second method works: turn on the ignition without starting the engine and again press the accelerator pedal all the way down for at least 30 seconds, then turn the key to position "0". Release the pedal but do not open the door. We can only remove the key after five minutes. Even with this method, we will achieve the result of resetting the transmission to factory settings.
