How do you replace the fuel pump of the Mercedes A-Class?

To replace the fuel pump of the Mercedes Classe A, you will need to loosen the screws that secure the rear seat bench to its housing: once the screws have been loosened, it will be possible to remove the bench from its seat in order to access the components below. The pump will now need to be freed from the fixing screws and corresponding power cables: once all the parts have been removed, it will be possible to extract the old pump and install the new one. It will need to be connected and secured before covering everything with the bench.
