Resetting the oil indicator on a 2011 Mercedes C-Class vehicle, model W204, is a simple and quick operation to be carried out independently. Before performing the reset, it is important to have completed all the steps involved in changing the engine oil. To reset the indicator, we must turn on the instrument panel and press the button on the left side of the display to access the mileage menu. When the current mileage appears on the instrument panel display, press both the call start button and the OK button on the steering wheel simultaneously. The maintenance menu will appear on the display; to reset the message, we must press the "Assyst Plus" option and then the "full Service" option. Activate the steps that make up the reset and conclude by selecting the "reset" option.
