Let's see how to measure the engine oil on Mercedes. We open the car door, pull the plastic lever at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the front hood; let's secure it with the special metal rod. We identify the rod with the yellow ring; let's take it out and check the tip (special minimum and maximum sign). We pass a cloth to remove traces of oil; we put on and take the dipstick again. We check the right oil level. If the oil goes to the low level of the dipstick we have to top up with liquid (top up with the right type of oil).
