Replacing the Starter Motor on a Mercedes C-Class

Let's replace the starter motor on a Mercedes C-Class. First, use a socket wrench to disconnect the battery cables. Remove the engine soundproofing panel and associated wires using a socket wrench and needle-nose pliers. Disconnect the starter motor power terminals with pliers, depending on the pressure of the tabs. Unscrew the starter motor mounting bolts with a socket wrench and remove the starter motor from the engine compartment (if you encounter issues, access it from underneath the vehicle). Finally, install the new starter motor with the power cables.
