How to Replace Spark Plugs on Mercedes A-Class

If you have engine starting issues, it is preferable to replace the spark plugs. Here’s how to do it. Pull the hood release lever located on the lower left of the dashboard and lift the hood, securing it. Remove the engine cover panel. Grasp the coil by hand and twist it until it comes out of the cylinder head. Use a socket wrench to remove the spark plugs after taking the coils off the engine. Take the new spark plug and insert it into the cylinder head, tightening it with the socket wrench. Replace all damaged spark plugs and reinstall the plastic cylinder head cover.
