We lift the bonnet and put it in safety, we remove the soundproofing panel of the engine. We begin to disassemble the locking pins of the EGR valve as in the video. Once the piece has been disassembled from its seat, let's unscrew the screws on it with a screwdriver. We begin to clean the valve with the help of a product suitable for cleaning mechanical parts, we use a brush to facilitate operations. Once the piece has been refurbished we go and mount it in the engine compartment. We fix the EGR valve in its housing and screw the tightening screws. We turn on the vehicle and carry out a functional check.
