How to Clean the EGR Valve of the Mercedes E

Model: Mercedes Classe E W210 - Years 1995-2002

Lift the hood and secure it. Remove the engine soundproofing panel. Start by removing the retaining pins of the EGR valve as shown in the video. Once the part is detached from its seat, use a screwdriver to remove the screws on it. Begin cleaning the valve using a suitable product for cleaning mechanical parts, and use a brush to assist with the process. Once the part is restored, reinstall it in the engine compartment. Secure the EGR valve in its housing and tighten the screws. Start the vehicle and perform a functionality check.
