Replacing the Turn Signal Switch on a Mercedes C

How do you remove the turn signal switch on a Mercedes C? Let's go through the disassembly of the steering wheel and components. Disconnect the battery cables located in the engine compartment. Next, remove the screws located at the back of the steering wheel. Take out the airbag from the steering wheel along with the related power connectors. Once the airbag is removed, unscrew the large central bolt that secures the steering wheel and pull the steering wheel towards you. Remove the fastening screws and pull the round piece located above the turn signal switch towards you, being careful not to damage it. Disassemble the turn signal switch and associated parts. Replace the part with a new one of the same type.
