How to Replace the DPF Sensor on a Mercedes GLK X204

Model: Mercedes Glk MK 1 - Years 2008-2015

If during a diagnosis on your Mercedes GLK X204, you detect a fault code related to the differential pressure sensor of the particulate filter, the issue is often resolved by replacing the sensor. Open the engine bay and remove the cover with the Mercedes logo, disconnect the engine control unit connectors, unclip the wiring, and unscrew the screws to remove the filter box cover. At this point, you can remove the air filter, disconnect the connector from the mass air flow sensor, loosen the hose clamp, and remove the filter box. Unscrew the support bracket of the sensor, disconnect the connector, and unscrew the sensor. Also unclip the metal clamps on the sensor pipes, and you will finally be able to remove it from its housing and insert the new sensor. Reassemble everything and check via diagnosis that the control unit no longer displays the error.
