Removing the Steering Wheel Airbag on a Clk

Do you want to remove the steering wheel airbag on a Mercedes Clk? Here’s how to detach the airbag from the steering wheel of the Clk. Disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine bay. Remove the inspection caps at the back of the steering wheel (if present), then unscrew the securing screws found in the steering wheel (where the airbag is located) using a socket or screwdriver. Once the airbag is released (driver's side), disconnect the power connectors and remove it from the steering wheel. Install the new airbag on the steering wheel: connect the power connectors, then press it onto the steering wheel and screw in the screws.
