Replacing Rear Brake Discs and Pads

Model: Mercedes Classe C W203 - Years 2000-2007
Part: Brake rotors

Lift the vehicle on suitable jack stands and remove the rear wheel; use a punch to extract the retaining pin for the pads, slightly retract the piston, and remove the old pads; then remove the brake caliper and the retaining bolt for the disc from the hub; take off the disc from its seat and install the new one after cleaning both the hub and the disc of protective oil; tighten the retaining bolt for the disc to the hub, reposition the caliper, adjust the parking brake using the appropriate adjuster, insert the new pads, and reinstall the retaining pin.
