How to Replace Fuel Injectors

An electronic fuel injector consists of a nozzle, a valve, and a pump that exerts fuel pressure. When fuel injectors wear out or become clogged in a car, they no longer provide adequate fuel supply, causing the engine to lose RPM and resulting in the car not performing as it did before. By doing it yourself, you can save on labor costs. To perform this task, you will need a socket wrench that matches the size of the injector. Use the wrench to deactivate the fuel system by disconnecting the negative battery cable. You can then remove the electrical connector and the fuel intake line connected to the intake manifold.
