Replacing Cabin Air Filter

The cabin air filter housing is located in the engine compartment, along the left edge when viewed from the front: once you open the hood, locate the cabin air filter housing, unclip the metal bar that serves as the cover latch, and lift it to remove the old filter; remove any dirt residue from inside the filter box and insert the new one, ensuring the correct airflow direction; then reposition the cover and close it securely by snapping the bar back in place. It is always helpful, when replacing the cabin filter, to also sanitize the cabin with a germicidal spray.
