Replacing the Accelerator Cable Spring Clip

In older generation engines, the accelerator mechanism is controlled by a cable connecting the pedal to the pump, which has a lever system that allows modulation of the command; at the end of the accelerator cable, there is a spring that keeps it under tension, at the base of which is a plastic clip that anchors the cable to its support: being plastic, it tends to deteriorate over time; replacing it is very simple. Just manually activate the lever to release the cable and pull it out of its seat through the designated slot; then remove the old clip and insert the new one, ensuring it is properly seated.
