Replacement of Left Front Headlamp Bulb

Model: Mercedes Clk A208, W208, C208 - Years 1997-2003

To comfortably replace the xenon bulb in the left front headlamp (passenger side), you first need to remove the engine air filter box: open the bonnet, locate the filter box, disconnect the incoming air duct and the mass air sensor, then simply pull the box upwards (it is secured with rubber mounts); once the filter box is removed, take off the protective cap behind the headlamp, disconnect the ignition control unit, and unscrew the bulb support screws to extract the bulb from the headlamp; insert the new bulb, taking care not to touch the glass envelope, and reverse the steps for reassembly.
