Mercedes Slk - Video tutorial
Model: Mercedes Slk
R170, MK 1
- Years 1997-2004 There are two fuse boxes in the Mercedes Slk, one in the passenger compartment located on the side of the dashboard where the door rests (on the left side for vehicles with left-hand drive, and on the right side for vehicles with right-hand drive). To access the fuses, we rotate the screws on the cover slightly counterclockwise (possibly using a small flathead screwdriver as leverage). In the engine compartment, the fuse box is located on the left side near the brake fluid reservoir. To access the fuses, we release the tabs to remove the cover. To replace a fuse, we locate it, grasp it with small pliers, pull it out, and check if the metal strip inside is broken. If it is broken, the fuse needs to be replaced. If the metal strip inside is intact, the fuse is functioning. Replace a fuse with one of the same amperage.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHow do you replace the horn on the Citroà «n Berlingo? In order to replace the horn on the Citroà «n Berlingo, the vehicle must be raised so that the screws that secure the left front wheel can be loosened and removed completely. Once this wheel has been removed, it will be possible to access the screws that secure the internal cover of the corresponding wheel arch: this will have to be detached and it will be possible to access the components inside, including the horn. This will need to be disconnected from its connector and removed from its holders, so that it can be replaced with a new spare part. by ScegliAuto More videos
