How do you replace the thermostat of the Mercedes A-Class?

The replacement of the thermostat on the Mercedes Class A is done by opening the hood, so that access to the components located inside the engine compartment can be obtained: on the right side of the latter it will be possible to locate the battery, which must be disconnected and removed from its seat, loosening the fixing screws. Then all the screws fixing the intake manifold must also be loosened, accessing the components underneath it: the thermostat can now be disconnected and released from its fixing screws, replacing it with a new one and mounting all the parts previously disassembled.
