Today, let's go through the step-by-step instructions to perform the routine maintenance service by replacing the engine oil and oil filter on the MG 3. First, raise the vehicle and start unscrewing the oil drain plug located on the oil pan, allowing it to drain into a container for about ten minutes; then use the appropriate wrench to unscrew and remove the oil filter cartridge, replacing it with a new one (screw it in by hand and tighten gently).

Now, unscrew the fill cap and add oil (using 10W40 oil).
