The basic service consists simply of changing the engine oil and the oil filter, without replacing other filters or spark plugs. In the video provided, we see how this maintenance can be performed on the MINI R50 where, first, you open the engine compartment and remove the oil filler cap, then lift the car and proceed to drain the used oil. Meanwhile, replace the oil filter, then close the oil drain plug, lower the car, and add the new engine oil through the filler neck in the engine compartment.
