How to Change the Oil of the Mini Cooper 1600 Petrol

Lift the bonnet and locate the position of the oil filter and the oil filler neck. Next, unscrew the plug from the sump beneath the engine to drain the used oil.
It is advisable to replace the oil filter when adding new oil. Remove the engine water reservoir, then simply unscrew the filter cap and insert the new filter, ensuring to change the gasket and position it correctly.
Now unscrew the cap of the filler neck for the new oil, replace the sump plug, and add the new oil.
