Remove the Fuel Pump on Mitsubishi Colt

Remove the fuel pump on a Mitsubishi Colt. Start by disconnecting the battery cables, then remove the rear seats of the car. You will find the wiring and a metal piece with screws that need to be removed. Use a socket to unscrew the securing screws of the metal cap, then remove it from its seat. Wrap the entire perimeter of the metal plate with paper or an absorbent cloth (to soak up any fuel leaks), then, using a socket, unscrew the securing pins located on the sides. Finally, disconnect the power connectors and the liquid circulation pipes.
