How to Remove and Replace the Timing Belt on a Nissan Qashqai

How do you remove the timing belt from a Nissan Qashqai? Lift the car on a column lift or jack, remove the undertray and the timing belt cover. Use a spanner to loosen the tensioner pulley and slide the belt off its seat. Use a socket to unscrew the tensioner pulley securing bolt, then remove the water pump as shown in the video. Fit the new water pump (previously removed), the tensioner, and the belt itself, tightening everything with the socket. Finally, refit the plastic covers at the rear and top of the car.
