How to remove the starter motor from a Nissan Murano? Here’s how to remove the damaged part from the engine bay. Disconnect the power terminals of the starter motor using pliers or a screwdriver depending on the pressure of the clips. Remove the car battery and take out the plastic container. The motor is located beneath the container. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the securing bolts of the starter motor and remove it from the engine bay. Replace the starter motor with an identical part. Start the vehicle after reinstalling the battery.
