Replacement of Exhaust Manifold Gasket

It is recommended to perform this maintenance with the engine cold, as components that come into contact with exhaust gases reach high temperatures. Once the engine has cooled, unscrew the fixing pins of the exhaust manifold, remove it from its seat, and take off the old gasket; clean the surfaces of both the cylinder head and the manifold thoroughly and apply the new gasket without any sealant. Then follow a criss-cross pattern for tightening the nuts to ensure maximum gasket adherence.
