Then, open the hood, remove the indicated fuse, and disconnect the negative battery terminal for safety. Next, lift the rear seat cushion, open the center cap, and disconnect both the fuel lines and the power connector.

At this point, you can unscrew the outer ring, remove the pump, and proceed with replacing the float.
