How to Remove and Replace the EGR Valve on an Opel Astra

This video shows how to remove and replace the EGR valve on an Opel Astra. Lift the bonnet and secure it, then remove the engine soundproofing panel. Once the panel is removed, disconnect the power connector using a screwdriver. Start unscrewing the fastening pins of the EGR valve (using a socket wrench) as shown in the video. Remove the EGR valve from its location in the engine bay. Once the part has been renewed, assemble the pieces together. Finally, refit the EGR valve in the engine bay after cleaning it of any dirt and deposits.
