How to Remove the Coils of an Opel Astra

Do you want to remove the spark plugs from your Opel Astra? In this video, we will show you how to do it. Pull the lever to open the engine bay and lift the front bonnet, securing it. Remove the plastic cover on the soundproofing panel that covers the engine, then unscrew the pins on the coil bar with a screwdriver. Disconnect the coils by hand after unplugging the power connector, unscrew the spark plugs with your socket wrench, and pull them out of the cylinder head. Take the new spark plugs and guide them with the extension of the socket wrench into the engine head, tighten them, and reconnect the respective power connectors. Finally, close the engine bay.
